Irvin R. Cone

Irvin R. Cone, 60, of Windham Rd., South Windham, husband of Karen (Perras) Cone, died Thursday morning Oct. 25, 2001 at home, of cancer. He was born June 16, 1941 in Willimantic the son of Orrin and Laura (Sypher) Cone and was a life long Windham resident. His favorite place to go was Dunkin Donuts and he loved helping people. Irvin worked for several construction companies for many years, for Local #42 and also for Sabrina Pools. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 sisters; Viola Slater and her husband Norman of Scotland, Mary Cone of Windham, Lois Kneeland and her husband Wayne of N. Windham and Elsie Wyszomierski of Windham Center, a brother in law Richard Perras Jr., many nieces and nephews and his special friends Shirley, Leslie and Tony Boulay and Roxanne Ellsworth. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Orrin (Sonny) Cone of Florida and Charles Cone Sr. of Windham and by a special friend Leonard Boulay. Private funeral services will be held with burial in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to Hospice of E.
