Irene Lepine LaVoie, 103, of Willimantic, CT passed away November 14, 2020. She was born February 24, 1917 in Chicopee, MA, daughter of Marie Louise (Sarah) Lacombe and Alexander Lepine. Irene was employed for many years at American Thread, retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Mary’s Guild and loved playing bingo at the Chaplin senior center. She is survived by her daughters Carol Field of Sydney, Australia and Jackie Lavoie of Southwick, MA, granddaughter Jodi Lavoie of Granby, CT, three grandchildren Alison, Geoff, and Max and five great-grandchildren of Sydney, Australia. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Henry Lavoie, and son, Butch Lavoie. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham, CT.
