Irene (Burnham) Jalbert

Irene Regina (Burnham) Jalbert 94, of Farmington MI, wife of the late Alphonse Jalbert, formerly of Mansfield Center, CT, passed away comfortably May 24, 2016. She was born April 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Milton and Leola (Legary) Burnham. She was employed by the University of Connecticut in the dorms before retiring. Irene is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Henry and Joyce Jalbert from Wixom, MI; grandson Jared, his wife Lindsay and great grandchildren Brian and Lila Jalbert from Virginia, granddaughter Polly (Jalbert), her husband Ted and great grandchildren, Hunter and Avery Michowski from Michigan., son Francis Jalbert and family of Mansfield Center CT. She was predeceased by a sister Clara Peterson, and three brothers Kendall, Edwin and Charles Burnham. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to your local Hospice or the charity of your choice. A graveside service was held Saturday May 28, 2016 at St. Joseph Cemetery.
