Ira George Young

Ira G. Young, 76 of Willington, CT passed away on November 13, 2018. He was born in Exeter, NH on November 18,1941. Ira and Joanne (Bernier) were married on June 20,1959 and raised their family in Willington. He leaves behind his wife, Joanne and 4 children, Mark Young of Louisiana, JoLene Csiki and partner Dave of Vermont, Jaciline Harrington and husband Doug of Montana and Darlene Thomas and partner Melvin of Connecticut; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a sister in law, Pauline Davis of Virginia and a brother in law, Bruce Mercure of Maine. Ira enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, hunting, fishing and spending time with his special friends; you all know who you are. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
