Howard F Meade

Howard F. Meade, 85, of Willimantic, died Friday November 29, 2002 in Windham. He was born August 24, 1917 in Willimantic, the son of James and Margaret (Connors) Meade and was a lifelong resident. During World War II Mr. Meade volunteered and joined the Navy. Following the war he was employed for over 30 years at the American Thread Company and was a long time member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge #1311. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours.
