Hilda Wrzesien

Hilda Wrzesien, 84, of Willimantic, died Sunday Sept. 22, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born May 17, 1918 in Willimantic the daughter of Jacob and Antonia (Morytko) Wrzesien. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by SNET for 38 years. Hilda was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a member of the Polish Women?s Alliance. She is survived by a brother Fred Wrzesien of Scotland, 3 sisters; Anne Williams of CA., Mary Corsi of Willimantic and Anita Gauthier of Windham, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. There will be no calling hours. A gathering will be held at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Wednesday at 10:15 am prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St.Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic,Ct. 06226.
