Henry P. Suffish

Henry P. Suffish , 69, husband of the late Gudrun Suffish, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Windham Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born May 4, 1941 in Storrs where he enjoyed his entire life . He is the son of Henry and Helen (Adamcik) Suffish. He retired from the Town of Mansfield Public Works Department where he served over 30 years. Henry was passionate about his hobbies including gardening, muscle cars and his pets. Henry would often be seen driving around town with a coffee in hand and a smile on his face. He is survived by his stepchildren Glenn Haley and his wife Kimberly of Ashford, Pat Bulter-Lofman and her husband Steven of Mansfield, and Laura Olsen and her husband Steven of Ashford. He leaves behind three grandchildren Colin Haley, Alyse Lofman and Tyler Olsen. He also leaves behind many close friends, including Janet Adamcik and Silvia Halia. His family will receive friends on Wednesday Sept. 22nd between 5:00 and 7:00pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic.
