Henry Joseph Dazy

Henry J. Dazy, 78, of Pudding Hill Rd, Scotland, husband of Viola (Eichner) Dazy, died Monday March 11, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. He was born May 20, 1923 in Willimantic the son of Joseph Dazy Sr. and Aldea (Bertrand) Dazy. Henry was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War 2 and was a charter member of the Franklin VFW. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Donna Porter of Lebanon, 4 sons; John of N. Windham, Dwight of Willimantic, Gary of Scotland and Brian of Hampton, 5 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm in the Scotland Cemetery, Rte 97, Scotland. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to the Scotland Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 48, Scotland, Ct. 06264.
