Henrietta Hallock

Henrietta (Zeller) Hallock, 91, of Cheshire and Bonita Springs, FL., died Friday Aug. 12, 2005 at Highland Healthcare in Cheshire. She was the widow of Robert C. Hallock. Henrietta was born July 11, 1914 in Ashford, the daughter of Edwin and Fannie Zeller. Prior to her marriage, she worked in Hartford as a bookkeeper for several years. Once married, she worked with her husband at Hallock s Ice Cream on Jackson St. in Willimantic until they retired in 1965. They then traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and Mexico prior to settling in Bonita Springs, FL. Henrietta was a former member of the Eastern Star in Willimantic. She is survived by her son Dr. Robert C. Hallock Jr. and his wife Grace of Cheshire and a stepdaughter Roberta Kaman and her husband Charles of Farmington. She was particularly proud of her grandchildren, Dr. R. Jason Hallock and his wife Lisa of Chicago, IL. and Rebecca C. Hallock of Madison. A graveside service will be held in the Storrs Cemetery, North Eagleville Rd., Storrs on Thursday Aug. 18, 2005 at 11:00am. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, 103 Old Iron Mine Rd., Bloomfield, Ct. 06002.
