Helen Bednarz

Helen Irene (Musial) Bednarz, born January 10, 1915, passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria Convalescent Home in Plainfield on Sunday December 4, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Bednarz, her brother Anthony and three sisters, Connie, Lena and Ira. She is survived by a brother John P. Musial and his wife Helen of Lebanon and their sons, her nephews, Bob and his wife Betty, John and Jimmy. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, Dean, Linda, Skipper, John, Jason, Tony, Karen, Sharon, Susie and Wally. She was employed for several years at the American Thread Company, the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Company and the J.P. Musial Repair Shop. To all who knew and loved her, she was known as Cioci . She will always be remembered as generous, loving and energetic. She loved all animals especially her dog Bo-bo and her many cats. She danced a good polka, tended a beautiful flower garden, cooked a delicious spaghetti sauce and made homemade cabbage and potato pierogies. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
