Helen A. Andrychowski

Helen A. (Rajchel) Andrychowski, 95, of Marlborough, formerly of Windham, wife of the late Raymond Andrychowski, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Marlborough. She was born July 29, 1912 in Willimantic, the daughter of Isadore and Katherine (Kasperkiewicz) Rajchel and was a life long Windham resident and communicant of St. Joseph Church. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at the former American Thread Co. in Willimantic. She is survived by two sons and their wives, John and Barbara Andrychowski of Galeton, PA, James and Donna Andrychowski of Windham Center, six grandchildren, David Andrychowski and his wife Jacqueline, Donald Andrychowski and his wife Julie, Chrystyna Andrychowski, Sherry Smardon and her husband Michael, Susan Andrychowski and Matthew Andrychowski, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marie R. Powell, four sisters, Adele Rex, Mary Syzdek, Nellie Pat Sagal and Sophie Kaminski, three brothers, Joseph, John and Stanley, Rajchel. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Rte. 195, Willimantic on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
