Harry A. Pearl

Harry A. Pearl passed away after a long illness on April 29, 2025. Born on July 25, 1937 in Windham, CT to Alvine and Nellie Pearl.
Harry graduated from Windham Tech in 1955. He spent some time as a lifeguard in the U.S. Army and then returned to Windham to put his carpentry skills to work. After briefly working for the University of Connecticut, Harry went out on his own and enjoyed a long career as a home improvement contractor.
Harry was married to the love of his life Kathleen (Kay) Moran on June 13, 1964. She pre-deceased him on August 28, 2008. They loved to travel, go dancing, listen to “real” country music and enjoy great food!
Harry leaves his daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Victor Funderburk of South Windham, and his friend and companion who was like a son to him, Shannon Colburn of South Windham.
Our family would like to thank his caregiver Shannon, who brightened the last year of his life and the staff of Windham Hospital and Douglas Manor for their compassionate care for Harry.
