Harrie L. Field

Harrie L. Field, 95, of Columbia, died Thursday, September 18, 2003 in Willimantic. She was born April 22, 1908 in Willimantic the daughter of Harry N. Field and Bessie (Ladd) Field Trythall and had lived in Columbia for most of her life. She was a member of the Columbia Congregational Church and the Columbia Grange. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed for many years at the former Willimantic Savings and Loan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by a brother Stanley Field and 2 sisters, her twin, Helen Hennequin and Shirley Kurcinik. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at the Columbia Congregational Church, Rte 87, Columbia with the Rev. Jack Zappulla officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept.
