Harold A. "Skipper" Watson Jr. Harold A. "Skipper" Watson Jr., passed away on Monday April 22, 2013. He was born in Willimantic, CT. on October 27, 1952 to the late Dorothy E. (Watson) Jackson and the late Harold A. Watson Sr. Skipper graduated from Marianapolis Preparatory School in 1971, and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1975. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, an avid sportsman, played on the Semi-Pro football team for the New England Crusaders out of Hartford, CT. He also played for many area softball teams in the Willi-MAC League, as well as in the Willimantic Rec. basketball league and a lover of fishing. Skipper was predeceased by his older sister "Baby Dottie". He is survived by his 3 children: Jason B. Watson and his wife Julisa of Norwich, CT., Shojuana C. Watson of Glen Allen, VA., and Randolph J. Watson of Willimantic, CT., also 2 sisters: Susan V. Watson of Windham, CT. and Donna E. Watson of Willimantic, CT. He leaves 5 grandchildren: Jacin, Jaylyn, Isaiah, Zariah and Elijah and 2 very close cousins who supported and guided him to the end, LaVan and Vernice Dawson. Skipper also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Monday April 29, 2013 at 11am at the Franco-American Club, 116 Club Rd., Windham, CT.
