Guiyun Wei

Guiyun Wei, 92, of Storrs Mansfield, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025.

She was born in China, where she married and raised two children. More than 30 years ago, she moved to the United States to be close to her daughter and son.

Guiyun loved sewing, gardening, and cooking. She was known for her humor, kindness, and positive spirit. She brought happiness to everyone around her, and people loved her for her warmth and gentle nature.

Guiyun is survived by her daughter Lan Yang, her son Dong He, and her eight beloved grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who knew her.

A wake will be held on November 23, 2025, at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226.  The burial will take place on November 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Storrs Cemetery on North Eagleville Rd, Storrs, CT 06268.
