Gregory E. Hall Sr., 69, of Willimantic, died Wednesday April 27, 2005 at the Hartford Hospital as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born Nov. 30, 1935 in Willimantic the son of the late Gardiner and Freda (Woodworth) Hall. Greg lived in Willington for most of his life and was retired from the State of CT. D.O.T in Willington. He was an honorary member of Willington Fire Dept. #1 and had served 6 years in the CT. National Guard. Greg was a professional drummer and played in many country music bands around the state. He is survived by a son Gregory Hall Jr. of Willington, a daughter Leslie Hall of Stafford Springs and was predeceased by a son Brian Hall. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, Joseph and Travis, a great granddaughter Emily, 2 brothers, Clyde and Gerald Hall of Willington, 3 sisters, Alice Cassells of Willington, Frances Jenner of Brighton, MA. and Freda Ruel of Mattapoisett, MA. and many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday May 3, at 11:00am in the Willington Hill Cemetery, Rte 74, Willington.
