Gregory C. Frantz, 76, beloved husband of Patricia Frantz, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, in Manchester, Connecticut. Born on September 14, 1947, in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, Gregory was the son of Clayton and Anne Frantz. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather.
Gregory graduated from the University of Texas, moving to Storrs, Connecticut in 1978 and residing in this town for 46 years. Gregory was employed as a Civil Engineer professor by the University of Connecticut. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Frantz enjoyed a good game of golf, watching his UCONN basketball games, and taking on long walks.
He shared 51 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia. He is survived by his son, Adam and his companion, Cynthia Rondeau, grandson, Brendan Frantz and a brother, Jeffry Frantz.
Gregory Frantz will have a burial at sea. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gregory’s name may be made to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd, Suite #130, Lanham, MD 20706, (dvnf.org).
