Grace I. Sennick

Grace I. Sennick, 79, of Willimantic, widow of Leo John Sennick, died Saturday May 11, 2002 in Mansfield. She was born March 17, 1923 in Greenwich, spent most of her life in Stamford and moved to Willimantic in 1976. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Willimantic. Mrs. Sennick was devoted to her family and a true friend to many. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ellen Shirshac of Mansfield, Joyce Decyk of Willimantic, 2 sons, Robert R. Sennick of Willimantic, Paul D. Sennick of Norfolk, MA, 8 grandchildren, David and Marc Sennick, Robert, Keith and Melanie Sennick, Michael Shirshac, Leo and Ashley Logan, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons, David H. Sennick and John W. Sennick. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be private in Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
