Grace Clauson

Grace Clauson, 95, of Windham, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her home. She was born September 24, 1918 at St. Joseph Hospital in Willimantic. She was the daughter of Raymond and Marion (Stone) Standish and was a lifelong Windham resident. She was the wife of the late Herbert Clauson who died in 1964. Grace worked at the Windham Hospital for 20 years prior to her retirement. She is survived by her children, Leonard and his wife Elaine, Donald and his wife Deborah, Linda Brett and her husband John and Michael, her sister Ruth Swift, her grandchildren, Laura Labarre, Sarah Hasbargen, Raymond Clauson, Donna Hendry, Alison Gibson and Kathy Scott as well as nine great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Murray Standish. A graveside service will be held Friday June 6, 2014 at 12 noon in the Windham Center Cemetery, Rte. 203, Windham. There are no calling hours.
