Gloria J. (Weeks) Gordon

Gloria Jean Gordon, 72, of Willimantic, born July 3,1945 passed away September 9th after a short battle with cancer. She was born July 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Russell and Muriel (McCollum) Weeks. She is survived by daughter Joy and fiance Joseph and son James; granddaughter Crystal with great-granddaughters Jazmyne and Vida, grandson Joshua and Zavi with great-granddaughter Iza'bella and great-grandson Aramis and grandson Richard with great-grandson Christian; brother Ronald and Evelyn of New Jersey and sister Joyce and Gert of Colorado, many nieces, nephews and good friends She was predeceased by a sister Laura Oumette. Gloria spent her time enjoying; coloring, TV, tag sales, bingo, riding around in her electric wheelchair and spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren. She will be loved and missed greatly! Gloria was known for being sassy, having a sense of humor and her many faces. A special thanks to Dawn for the many years of being her homemaker and companion. Family would like to thank everyone whom were involved in her life. A celebration of life will take place Sunday September 17, 2017, at 1:00pm at the VFW in Willimantic, a time to share stories, pictures and laughter as she would want!
