Gloria Starks Obituary
Gloria A. (Arnold) Starks, 80, formerly of Brooklyn, died Monday, December 6, 2021 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. She was born in Augusta, ME, the daughter of the late Clyde and Maddlyn (Harrington) Arnold. Gloria worked for many years at Mansfield Training School, where she retired from. She went back to work as a home aide after retirement because she missed helping people. Gloria was a home body. She enjoyed being with her family and with her dog Frisbee. The family would like to thank the staff at Matulaitis Nursing Home for their exceptional care they gave Gloria. Gloria was survived by a son, Earl Starks III and his wife Beth of Thompson; a daughter, Doris of Maine; also, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Calvin Starks three brothers, David, Raymond and Dana and two sisters, Tammy and Peggy. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10:00am at the Windham Center Cemetery.
