Glenda Marie Vargas Malave passed away on January 30, 2026, at Hartford Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1987, in Willimantic, CT to Daisy Maria Malave Roche and Eduardo Luis Vargas Oquendo.

Glenda was raised in Willimantic, attended Windham High School, and worked for 23 years at Wendy’s as a crew leader and manager.

Glenda is survived by her partner, Jordan Valle and her three children, daughters Daisyana Lee Segarra and Zafira Adonai Valle Vargas, and a son, Felix Manuel Segarra. She also leaves behind her five sisters, Carmen Vargas, Marisol Vargas, Angela Vargas, Sahudy Malave, and Brenda Colon as well as numerous nephews and nieces and other extended family members.

Glenda’s interest included watching movies with her children, playing board games, and listening to Christian music.

Glenda’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic. Pastor Marta Colon from Iglesia Cristiana Pentecostal Vida Nueva will be conducting a funeral service during this time period.
