Glen O. Bennett, Sr., 62 of Willimantic, husband of Linda (Phillips) Bennett, died October 31, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in North Windham, he was a son of Cecelia (Generous) Bennett of Manchester and the late John F. Bennett Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Willimantic and was employed at Foxwoods Casino for the past eight years. He was a member of the Moose Club, the French American Club, and the Washington Social Club. Along with his wife Linda and his mother he is survived by two daughters, Debbie Landeck and her husband Wayne of Seattle, Washington, and Donna and her husband Tom of League City, Texas; his son, Glen Bennett, Jr. of Puyallup, Washington; his two step daughters, Sheri Caswell of Chaplin and Tammy Preisner and her husband John of Glastonbury; his two brothers, Frederick Bennett, II, of Manchester and John F. Bennett, Jr. and his wife Jane of Willimantic; his four sisters, Muriel Lucas of Willimantic, Dixie Larned of Manchester, Candy Bennett of Manchester and Jacqueline Bennett of Manchester; one uncle, Captain Alfred R. Generous and his wife Mary Campany of Syracuse, NY; one aunt, Philemena Eramita Generous of Falmouth, MA; fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 5, at 10:00 am at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195), Willimantic. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 4, from 6pm to 9pm.
