Germaine M. Zoldak, 82, of Willimantic, widow of Stanley Zoldak, died peacefully at home on Thursday Dec. 29, 2005. She was born July 1, 1923 in Willimantic the daughter of Irenee and Mary Rose (Coulombe) Rioux and was a lifelong resident. She was employed for years as a supervisor at Electro-Motive prior to staying at home to care for her children who will cherish her always for her gentle loving ways and wonderful sense of humor. There were no limits when it came to her kindness and heart of gold. She was an extremely devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her five children, Brian Zoldak of Rogers, Mark and Neal Zoldak of Willimantic, Maureen Zoldak of Andover and Karen Zoldak of Willimantic; and four grandchildren, Rebecca Lavallee, Tiffany Jones and Tyler Zoldak all of Willimantic and Kayla Zoldak of Putnam. She is also survived by a brother Charles Rioux of Willimantic, two sisters, Theresa Quinones of California and Doris Thoman of R.I. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Paul Rioux and a sister Irene Peterson. Funeral services and burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham, were private on Tuesday Jan. 3, 2006.
