Gerard J. Milhomme

Gerard Milhomme, 85, of Miller Rd., Chaplin, died Sunday Aug. 10, 2003 at the Douglas Manor in Windham. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys (Hawes) Milhomme and daughter Peggy Milhomme as well as 2 brothers George and Joseph Milhomme and a sister Rose Milano. He is survived by 2 sons Gerard Milhomme and Thomas Milhomme and his wife Sharon, 3 daughters and sons in law; Rosalie and Edward Beattie, Kathy and Gary Sprague and Laura and Patrick Schneider, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a brother Roland Milhomme. He was a member of Carpenter's Union Local #24 for 50 years. He was a very hard worker and loved to hunt and fish. He will be deeply missed. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00am with the Rev. David Ferrero officiating. Burial will follow in the South Chaplin Cemetery.
