Gerard A. D'Auteuil

Gerard A. D'Auteuil, 89, of Macht Rd., Columbia, husband of Arlene (Bentley)) D'Auteuil, died Saturday July 20, 2002 at the Roncalli Health Center in Willimantic. He was born Sept. 18, 1912 in Willimantic the son of Charles and Emma (Turcotte) D'Auteuil. He was a communicant of St. Columba Church in Columbia, a life member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge and enjoyed bowling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons; Richard G. of Jupiter, FL., Donald A. of Wolfboro, N.H. and Thomas E. of Columbia, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Ursula D'Auteuil of Hastings, Minn., Marie D'Auteuil of Willimantic and Clair Guarrera of Waterbury and 2 brothers; Edward of Ocala, FL and Pierre of Orange Park, FL. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492-7522. Arrangements through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
