Geraldine F. Bannard

Geraldine Adelaide Bannard, 88, of Willimantic, formerly of Port Orange Florida, widow of the late William H. Bannard, passed away Saturday May 9, 2015. Geraldine was born on April 18, 1927 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Paul Leroy and Dorothy Hart Frehn. She graduated from Mechanicsburg High School, Mechanicsburg, PA class of 1945. She attended the Philadelphia School of Nursing. Gerry was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 11, 1969 in Rockville, Ct and continued in her faithful service for 46 years. She is survived by four daughters; Wendy L. (and Roger) Hulme, Willimantic CT, Tracy C. (and John) Straus, Willimantic CT, Abby G. (and John) Manos, Vernon, CT, Melissa J. (and Shawn) Collins, South Daytona, FL; two sons; George P. Hebard, NJ, Barry H. Bannard, St Augustine, FL; one sister Gail A. Horner, Port Matilda, PA, sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and her beloved kitties; Julius and Molly. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy L. Holley, and an infant son Andrew H. Bannard. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 96 Quarry Street, Willimantic, CT.
