Gerald Edward Lebeau

Gerald Edward LeBeau, 62, formerly of both Canterbury and Lebanon CT, passed away on July 30, 2018 as a result of complications from a tragic fall. He was born on August 4, 1955 to Arthur E. LeBeau and Helen (Gadbois) LeBeau. Gerald graduated from Dr. Helen Baldwin School in Canterbury and later from Windham High School in 1973. He joined the Carpenters? Union #43 and even served as their treasurer. He loved his family and was the biggest Red Sox fan ever. He enjoyed playing cribbage and softball, as well as keeping score at his kids? games, and was able to do some traveling once he retired. Gerald was predeceased by his mother in 2010, and he is survived by his father, his companion Michele Doucette, his children Kevin and Erica and their mother Jean Cameron, as well as his sisters Sharon LeBeau, Joyce Anderson (Lloyd), Christine Jones (Kenneth), Arlene Hamelin (James), Annette Betsill (Raymond), Marie Hoffman (Dennis), Gail Forrest (David), Theresa Frandsen (Frank), and his brother Richard LeBeau (Barbara), as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins,?sixteen nieces and nephews and ten grand-neices and nephews. Calling hours are to be held on August 3, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. A mass of Christian burial will be held the following day on Saturday, August 4, at 9:00am at St. Augustine Church, 144 Westminster Road in Canterbury. Interment will be in All Hallows Cemetery in Moosup. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saving Institute Bank, 803 Main St., Willimantic, CT 06226.
