Georgette Lambert

Georgette (Perreault) Lambert, 85, of Willimantic, widow of George M. Lambert, died Wednesday Jan. 26, 2011. She was born in Putnam on Oct. 4, 1925, a daughter of the late Edmond and Aline (Fortin) Perreault. Georgette retired from UConn after twenty years of service. She is survived by daughter Gloria Champany and her husband Richard of TN., daughter Diana Hayde, daughter Cynthia Nahass and her husband Michael, son Raymond Doucette and his wife Tina all of Texas; sister Anita Lambert of Putnam, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and an aunt Ella Fortin of Danielson. She was predeceased by two sisters, Carmen Hopkins and Martha LaBonte. We hold a special place in our hearts for her cousins Linda and Don Egan and Lenny Dexter for all the love and kindness they showered upon her during her last days. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Feb. 7th between 10:00 and 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with the service beginning at 11:00am.
