George E. Dombrowski

Dr. George E. Dombrowski Sr., 79, of Storrs, husband of Helen (Poterala) Dombrowski, U.S. Navy veteran, UConn Professor Emeritus of electrical engineering, died Wednesday January 31, 2007 in Windham. In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, George Dombrowski Jr. of Southington, Peter Dombrowski of Boulder CO, 3 daughters, Mary Voigt of McPherson, KS, Susan Dombrowski of Bethesda, MD, Janet Dombrowski of Santa Fe, NM, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a brother, Henry Dombrowski, a sister, Lorraine Pierce, several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at their home in Storrs on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Easthampton, MA. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Bishops and Martyrs Cemetery, Easthampton, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Life League are requested.
