George R. Brennan, of Lebanon, CT, passed away on December 23, 2015 after a brief, sudden illness. George was born on July 29, 1934 in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of the late Ralph and Anastasia (Yuskas) Brennan. George served two years in the United States Army, earning the rank of corporal. After his military service, he received a BS degree from the University of CT. George used his physics and engineering education as an employee of Pratt & Whitney and Electric Boat, and he eventually became a local businessman in Willimantic. George was a life member of the Willimantic Elks Club, and he enjoyed spending time with family, reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards, music, animals and nature. George is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bernyce (DiNapoli) Brennan, son Timothy Brennan of NH, daughter Kimberly (Brennan) Cavanna, grandchildren Jillian Cavanna (& husband Edward Weingart) and great granddaughter Autumn, Nicholas Cavanna and Haley Cavanna.
