Genevieve Baginski

Genevieve Baginski of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 2, 1914 in Fairfield, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (Ulanowicz) Recko. She was the wife of the late Edward F. Baginski. They were married for 57 years and lived in Middletown. Mrs. Baginski is survived by a daughter, Doris Ottaviano of Mystic and a son-in-law, William A. Lang of Lebanon. A daughter, Cecelia Lang passed away on October 3, 2008. She leaves behind two grandchildren, Marc Lang of Lebanon and his wife Terri, Marcia Calcagno of Silver Spring, MD and her husband William, two great grandsons, William and Zachary Calcagno of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by a sister, Clara Wynkoop of Milford and many nieces and nephews. In addition, she was predeceased by a brother, Alphonse Recko and sisters, Emily Haftek and Alfreda Supp. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
