Gary W. Bull of Hartford, 59, has left this world to walk with Jesus. He was born in Hartford in 1952 to the late Fred Orlo Bull and Nancy (Gardener) Bull. He worked for 25 years for the Town of West Hartford. He owned several restaurants: Different Tastes, the Blue Onion Tortilla Deli, and the Hog River Grill, as well as several popular lunch carts around Bushnell Park and the Old State House.This talented chef, entertainer and story teller also ran the Jambalaya cruises on the Connecticut River, crawfish boils, hot sauce parties and cigar dinners featuring some of the best local and nationally known music acts. He was a big man with a big heart, generous with his love and able to make everyone who knew him feel special. The pride and joy of Gary's life was his son Rodney Bull of Hartford and his grandson Adam.He also leaves his brother Randy Bull and his wife Maureen of Ledyard and many cherished friends.Calling hours will be Friday April 8, 2011 from 3-5 pm at the First Baptist Church, 667 Main St, Willimantic. His funeral service will immediately follow officiated by the Rev Dr. Fred Shapiro.His burial will be held Saturday April 9 at 10AM at the New Willimantic CemeteryLocated on Rt. 32 at the intersection of Rt. 6.
