Gary Lee Bissonnette

Gary L. Bissonnette, 57, of Scotland, husband of Sandra Walker, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born May 10, 1953 in Norwich, the son of the late Morin and Juliette (Pelletier) Bissonnette and had lived in Scotland for many years. Gary retired from the State of Connecticut and had owned and operated the Scotland General Store for the past several years. He loved to go boating and ride his motorcycle. In addition to his wife of 24 years he is survived by three daughters, Christy Bissonnette of Stamford, Shahan Bissonnette of Manchester and Hayley Bissonnette of Scotland, three brothers, Warren Bissonnette of Apache Junction, AZ, Marvin "Butch" Bissonnette of Tallahassee, FL and Wayne Bissonnette of Holbrook, AZ, a sister, Gail Bissonnette Jones of Mesa, AZ, several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St, Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday, March 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's Chapel in Scotland.
