Gail A. Michniewski

Gail Ann Michniewski, 61, of Stafford, Texas, passed away on Sunday morning November 1, 2015 at Kindred Hospital Sugar Land in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born September 21, 1954 in Willimantic, CT, the devoted daughter of Edward and Vera (Olenick) Michniewski. Gail has lived in the Houston, Texas area for the past 30 years. She was employed as a Recreational Therapist at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Houston, Texas. When not at work, Gail enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, gardening and cheering on the UCONN Women's basketball team. When she would visit her family in Lebanon, she always looked forward to picking blueberries and raspberries with her mother and cooking for her father. Gail loved spending time with her family and closest friends. Gail was a devoted member and friend to all at her church in Missouri City, Texas. Gail will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a faithful friend. She is survived by her father, Edward Michniewski, Lebanon; brother, Eddie Michniewski, Lebanon and several cousins. Gail's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:30am, at St. Francis of Assisi, 67 West Town St., Lebanon, assembling at church; burial to follow at New Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
