Gail (Haddad) Eldredge, 67, of Willington, who was born March 20, 1943 to Henry and Isabelle (Taylor) Haddad, died February 20, 2011 surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Earl A. Eldredge of Willington for 41 years, beloved mother to four children, Norris O'Keefe Jr. of Manchester, CT, Linda Sumner and husband Roland of Lebanon,CT, Patrick O'Keefe of Manchester, CT, and Holly Ladd and husband Jason of Willington, CT/SC; stepson Steven Eldredge of Farmington, NH. and predeceased by stepson Jim Eldredge of Willington, CT. She is also survived by her sister Linda Kucia and husband Henry of Warren, AR and brother Henry Haddad and wife Betty of Fairfield, CT. She will be greatly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was employed at Juniper Hill Village in Mansfield, CT until her retirement, and remained close with the residents whom she adored. She was a devoted member of the Federated Church of Willington, and an active member of the Willington Senior Center, TOPS and Curves. Gail enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, including her beloved pets. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday Feb. 23rd between 6:00 and 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at Federated Church of Willington (Hall Memorial Church) 132 River Rd., Willington with Rev. Del Hickson officiating. Interment will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Federated Church of Willington, 132 River Road, Willington CT 06279.
