Gabrielle Rita Browning

Gabrielle "Gail" Rita Browning, 92, of Windham, went to be with her Lord on May 16, 2015. Born in Lowell, MA on October 23, 1922, she raised a family in Columbia with her pre-deceased husband Arthur (died March 9, 2013). After spending most of their retirement years in N. Myrtle Beach, SC, they moved to Windham to be nearer family. She is survived by four children; Jason and Kathy of Freehold, NJ (grandchildren Zachary, Caitlin, Caleb, Hannah, great grandchild Josephine of Zachary and Lydia), Cindy St. Martin of Windham (Jenna, Carly), David of Atlantic Highlands, NJ (Christine) and Mark. As a couple they loved to travel and visited almost all 50 states. They very much enjoyed the excitement and activities of Myrtle Beach. Gabrielle was a committed Catholic and attended St. Joseph Church in Willimantic for the past several years. She was a dedicated wife and mother and always showed kindness to others. Arrangements are under the direction of Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, at 11:00am on Saturday May 23, 2015.
