Fredrick S. Eller, 69, of Marlborough, husband of Carole (Lusky) Eller, died Saturday February 15, 2003 in Clearwater Florida. He was born January 8, 1934 in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late Julius and Helen (Morse) Eller and had lived in Marlborough for the past 30 years. He was a U. S. Army Medical Corps veteran who served in Alaska and received a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology. Prior to his retirement in 1990 Mr. Eller was employed for over 25 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Product Support Engineering. He was a member of the Shennecossett and Baldwin Yacht Clubs. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Douglas Hastings of Rochester, NY, a son, James Eller of Paul Smiths, NY, a sister Jean Swanson and her husband Eugene of Kane, PA, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ethel and Joseph Lusky of Hebron, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother David Eller. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the funeral service at 11:00.
