Frederick R. Doten, 60, of Ashford, CT passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2020. He was born in Putnam, CT to Raymond and Elizabeth (Tormey) Doten. Fred was a big Nascar fan and loved going to Misquamicut Beach with his wife and kids. Frederick is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Melissa (Casey) Doten; two children Raymond and Jocelyn; mother Elizabeth; brother Ernie Doten; sister Doris and her husband Rick LaChappelle; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, Sr. and brother Raymond, Jr. Fred’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
