Fred Naumec Obituary
Fred J. Naumec, 91, of Willimantic, CT passed away on April 21, 2021. Born in Columbia, CT, the last of thirteen children, to Nicholas and Nellie (Buanowski) Naumec.
Fred was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreigns Wars, and retired from the International Union of Operating Engineers: Local Union 478.
He is survived by his daughter, Jackie and her husband, Mark Lambert; granddaughters, Stacey and Rachel Lambert; and his best friend, Asta, his daughter’s rescue dog. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all his siblings.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hartford Healthcare at Home Hospice Care 34 Ledgebrook Dr. Mansfield Center, CT 06250.
