Frank J. Salveggio, 75, of Willimantic, died Monday April 16, 2007 at his sons home in Canterbury. He was born September 6, 1931, the son of Frank and Adele (Nowakowski) Salveggio and was a lifelong Willimantic resident. He was predeceased by his wife Helen (Kelley) Salveggio in 1995. Frank had been employed by Brand-Rex in Willimantic for 37 years prior to his retirement. He was a life member of Willimantic Elks Lodge #1311 and a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Frank was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to UConn sports or the Boston Red Sox. He is survived by his three children, son Michael Salveggio and his children Kate and Patrick, son Steve Salveggio and his wife Jennifer and their children Kelley, Colleen, Rebekah, Allison, William, Joseph and Laura, and daughter Lisa Baronich and her husband Bill and their son Zachary. Frank is also survived by sisters Josephine Lariviere of Willimantic,Anna DiNolfo of Bremerton, WA, Jeanne Ruta of Preston and Mary Jarvis of Lebanon; and brothers John Salveggio of FL and Richard Salveggio of MO. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
