Frank William Postemski, Jr. 84, of Hampton, CT died Thursday, September 1, 2016 in the loving arms of his home companion and care provider, Lyubov. He was born on July 6, 1932 in Hampton, the son of Frank W. and Mary (Brys) Postemski. He is survived by his daughter, Beth Postemski of Steamboat Springs, CO and son, J. Clark Postemski and his daughter-in-law, Merry Postemski and beloved grandsons, Hunter and Slade Postemski all of Florence, Vermont. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Randall Postemski; his sisters, Nellie Sulkowski, Katherine Postemski Ellsworth and Staffie Postemski and his brothers, Edward, Walter, Victor and George Postemski. God has now reunited them as a family for all eternity. Frank was a decorated Army veteran having served with the U.S. Army Artillery during the Korean War. He was founder and President of F.W. Postemski Co. Inc. Insurance Agency located in Columbia. He was very well known in the Insurance Industry providing insurance services and earning numerous distinctions for over 52 years. Additionally, Frank and his brother George owned and operated Ski Realty, Inc. Frank had a passion for real estate and in his later years took an interest in providing and protecting wildlife habitat. He was also an avid hunter and took great pride teaching his children to hunt. He loved his family and numerous friends and enjoyed entertaining them at his home and camp in Hampton. He will be remembered for his ability to command the attention of everyone around him, his sense of humor and spontaneously singing songs from his childhood and life. Frank had a ready willingness to help others and would go to any length to give someone a hand. His charisma, self-confidence and ability to surmount any obstacles set before him is a gift his family and friends will continue to embrace. Graveside services with Military Honors well be held on Thursday September 8, at the North Cemetery in Hampton at 11:00 A.M.
