Francis J. Burnore 77, was a life-long resident of the Windham/Willimantic area, who passed away at St. Joseph Living Center Tuesday morning. Frank leaves behind his sister Theresa Misak and her husband Theodore; his sister Barbara Touchette and her husband Edmond; five nieces and nephews; many cousins, and an extended church family. Frank was a United States Army veteran who served valiantly during the Korean War, earning accolades. Frank went on to work at Willi Bowl, followed by a career at Brand- Rex. After retiring from Brand-Rex, Frank went on to serve his own community by delivering Meals-on-Wheels for eight years. Frank became a Christian in 1989, saw many miracles, and always passed on love. He was a vital part of the Harvest Light Christian Church, volunteering his time, energy, and spirit. Frank held his Pastors Matt and Ingrid Metell close in his heart. Frank was full of joy, always had a smile on his face, and had many friends who loved and will miss him. Donations may be sent to Harvest Light Christian Church.
