Francis R. Beaudoin

Francis R. Beaudoin, 73, of Windham, died July 29, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Joan (Shea) Beaudoin who predeceased him in December of 2002 after 44 years of marriage. Francis was born November 27, 1936 in Oneco, CT the son of the late Henry and Simone (Richards) Beaudoin. Francis served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was also a member of the V.F.W and American Legion. He is survived by three children Donald Beaudoin of Windham, Donna Doherty and her husband Jerry of South Windham and Michael Beaudoin and his companion Robin Mesar of Englewood, Fla.; five grandchildren Jared, Shana, Shay, Amanda and Bethany, three sisters Claire Mayo and husband Jim of Danielson, Theresa Herrick of Killingly and Lorraine Blake and husband Paul of Danielson. There will be a gathering at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, on Wednesday August 4, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00am with his memorial service beginning at 11:00am, burial to follow at Windham Center Cemetery.
