Frances M. Rhinehart, 87, passed away on Thursday April 6, 2006 in Norwich, Connecticut after a brief illness. Born and raised in Virginia, Frances worked for Southern States Cooperative before retiring to Arizona. She moved to Connecticut in 1993, residing first in Andover and later in Colchester. She leaves her loving sister, Virginia Upperman of Temple Hills, Maryland, her nieces Karen Upperman of Lothian, Maryland and Mary Hartzell of Columbia, Connecticut, her nephews, William Upperman of Fort Washington, Maryland and George Upperman of Marathon, Florida, many grand and great grand nieces and nephews in Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Florida as well as many friends. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Potomac Baptist Church Cemetery in King George, Virginia on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. All who knew her will miss her greatly.
