Frances C. (Jenkins) Lovely, 83, of Chaplin, wife of the late William Lovely, died Monday May 22, 2006 at home. She was born March 3, 1923 in Dover Foxcroft, ME., the daughter of Claude and Grace (Bishop) Jenkins. Frances drove a school bus in Windham for over 20 years, mostly during the 1970 s and 1980 s. She had been previously employed at American Thread Co. and Mansfield State Training School. After her retirement as a driver in 1988, she moved to Florida and returned in 2001. She enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage and also enjoyed eating lobster. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Michael Lovely and Stephen Parkman. She is survived by a son William Lovely II of Chaplin, 2 daughters, Andrea Teply and her husband Richard of Columbia and Kimberly LaFlamme and her husband Michael of Chaplin; a brother Beverly Jenkins, 2 sisters, Joyce Cross of Dover Foxcroft, ME. and Betty Prochaska of Groton, 11 grandchildren Michael Lovely, Robert Dancosse, Jamie Dancosse, Amy Caron, Wayne Lovely, Ed Lovely, Eva Lovely, Adrian Lovely, Heather Lovely, Arlo Griggs and Mark Cargo; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with interment following in South Chaplin Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
