Frances Elizabeth Casey

Frances Elizabeth Casey, 86, of Coventry, died Saturday July 12, 2003 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born September 8, 1916 in Waterbury, the daughter of Edward and Lumena (Marchand) Casey, grew up in Waterbury and had lived in Coventry for the past 40 years. She and her twin sister Catherine were active communicants of St. Mary's Church in Coventry and created crafts all year long to sell at the annual church bazaar. Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. She is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Delphine Casey Joy and her twin sister Catherine Theresa Casey, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters, Helen Lumena Casey, Janet Anna Casey Feest, Gertrude Loretta Casey Joy, Margaret Malvina Casey Butler and Alice Florence Casey Regan. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Coventry.
