Florentina Alvarez-Ramos

Florentina Alvarez Ramos, 86, of Willimantic, CT was taken by the lord on Sunday, August 16, 2015 after a long illness. Florentina was born on January 3, 1929 in Moca, PR. She was the daughter of Silvestra Morales Ramos and Viviano Ramos both of Moca, PR. Florentina had one deceased son Julio Caesar Ramos and is survived by her seven daughters-Milagros Ramos Bonilla, Carmella Ramos, Constancia Ramos, Maria Elena Ramos, Luz Maria Ramos, Gloria Ramos and Carmen Maria Ramos Everett and five sons- Luis Alfredo Ramos, Manuel Ramos, Wilson Ramos, Javier Ramos and Edwin Alvarez along with 38 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. There will be visitation for Family and friends at Potter Funeral Home (Rte.195) in Willimantic, CT on Thursday August 20, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Immediate family only from 4:15-5:00 PM Funeral services will be at Iglesia Sagrado Corozon de Jesus in Willimantic, CT on Club Rd. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Burial services will follow immediately after the funeral services at St. Joseph Cemetery.
