Fidelis C. Casey, 91, of Willimantic, wife of the late Timothy Casey, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Windham. She was born May 14, 1916 in Willimantic, the daughter of Thomas and Dora (Caisse) Wylie and was a life long resident and communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was employed for many years at the former Electro-Motive Mfg. Co. and then for ten years at UConn from which she retired. She is survived by four children, Timothy Casey Jr., Janet Misak and Pamela Kearns, all of North Windham and Noreen Gervais of Windham, a brother, Bernard Wylie of East Hartford, two sisters, Norma Bergeron of Willimantic and Beverly Hnath of Ashford, thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Ann Lincoln and Sister Mary Nadine, three brothers, Lyle, Thomas and Curtis Wylie, a sister, Dora Heon and a dear friend, Joseph A. Lefebvre. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
