Federica Taylor

Federica Taylor, 85, of Mansfield, passed away on Nov. 19, 2012. She was born in Norwich, CT and was a longtime resident of Mansfield Center, CT. A loving and kind-hearted woman, she was much loved by her late husband James T. Taylor, family and friends. She is survived by her son, James J. Taylor, her daughters, Marilyn A. Taylor and Linda E. Grenon and her husband Bill; grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Ray "Aurelio" Ferri, a sister Julia Weiss and nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of ECSU and received her Master's in British Primary from UCONN. Employed for years as a grammar school teacher for the Town of Mansfield, she not only took her profession seriously but also took pleasure in it. She loved to go fishing and blue crabbing and was an avid gardener and cook. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday Nov. 24th between 9:30 and 10:30 at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic.
